NZSL in the Media
We are so proud of our amazing volunteer, Warren. Congratulations!
We would like to say thank you to our wonderful volunteer Sharon for all her hard work and dedication to DWS!
What a wonderful achievement, what a wonderful team! It’s a privilege to be part of DWS!
Acknowledging Monari’s skills in a wide range of arts and her initiative in sharing her skills with the NZSL community.
Creating craft is an ideal way to break through the language barrier that can isolate the deaf, and empowering the deaf is what it’s all about.
The Ministry of Health awarded Yolanda Sutton of Runner Up for her achievement as a volunteer in the community health service!!
She was so excited and very humbled when She realised that Abbie, Monica and Natasha had nominated her.
Deaf Wellbeing Society is always expanding and continually brings joy to many members of the Deaf community.
She wishes her award had space for all the wonderful volunteers names that Deaf Wellbeing Society has! We could not achieve the great things we do without your dedicated help and commitment.
You all deserve an award too - so please share mine…
Abbie, Monica, Sharon, Carmen, Warren, Melanie, Piper, Linda, Georgia, Dee, Greer, Julie-Ann, Johanna, Tim, her gorgeous sister Natasha and many more!
Thank you to everyone who nominated me for the Deaf Aotearoa awards.
